Hey man, this was mucho helpful. I just finally upgraded my cube to 10.4 and, as you noted, it hosed my epson sc860 driver. sure nuff, panther had the missing drivers. All i had to do was copy over the epson print packages 1 & 2 from panther into my /library/receipts/ folder and the printer setup utility found it. score. I still dig my cube - it's survived over 5 years. (and man, i thought i was fly at the time. now it's almost retro!)

my wife was gonna kill me if I didn't get the printer working. so great save! much thanks.
