Made my first foray in to the Classic environment since successfully getting up and running with Tiger and as Classic starts up I get this annoying message that keeps reappearing even though I have clicked okay to acknowledge it:

Connection Failed
The server may not exist or it is not operational at this time. Check the server name or IP address and try again.

What's going on? What component or piece of classic is trying to connect to a "server". I'd like to just turn that component off if I could figure out what it is. Starting Classic with the Extension Off (set in the Classic Preferences pane) I still get that message so I'm perplexed as to just what is causing the message.

System Folder --> Servers

open the Servers folder
remove alias(es).

Unfortunatly that's not it. There was nothing inside the Servers folder and just in case there was somekind of invisible file in there I even tried a Classic startup with the Servers folder deleted and I still got that same message.

What about System Folder/Startup Items?

Nah it's not startup items either. There's nothing in there.

checking the Apple website I did discover a discussion topic going on there that seems to be about other people experiencing the same problem but there has been an explanation as to what going on presented there yet either.

Okay I literally just in fact found the problem. I had an alias; "Instant Access OCR™" (which was a component of Text Bridge at one time) that appears in the Apple menu. I first option clicked on the item to track down the original and got that same message even with out Classic starting up. So I trashed that item and everything started up just fine.
