I have an early 2008 17" MBP and I connect a apple 30" Cinema display to it. I have small red horizontal lines that appear on the 30" ACD. It reminds me a refresh rate problem. I have adjusted resolution to no avail. I am unable to adjust refresh rate as display preferences indicates 'N/A". I have attempted to adjust/calibrate the color but the red lines clear only if the 'white' is set to an almost beige color. I have reset PRAM etc etc to no avail. I have the number of colors set to 'millions'.

I would attach a photo of the problem but I don't see where I can in this forum.

Any suggestions?
