Please ask your question again, and be detailed and specific about what you want to do (for example, "I used my iSight camera to make a movie and I want to upload the movie to a Web site for other people to watch" or "I want to turn on my iSight when I am not at home and check up on my home by looking at what my iSight sees").

You can not "upload an iSight" because an iSight is a piece of hardware and you can not upload pieces of hardware.

I should have said I want to upload isight images to an FTP site for display on a website. When I connect the camera, I get the iChat assistant. When I log in to the FTP site, I can't see a way to link the camera output to it.

Launch PhotoBooth found in your /Applications folder. It is a little app specifically designed to use your iSight to take either still photographs or movies which are saved in PhotoBooth. You can then drag an file out of PhotoBooth onto your desktop or a folder in your home folder then the web site should provide a means of picking the image file and uploading it.

Thanks for the help, but, unfortunately PhotoBooth doesn't like Tiger. I'm also finding that when I connect to the FTP site, I'm not asked for my User/PW as the site instructions say will happen:<http://wiki.wunderground.com/index.php/WunderCams>. Any suggestions would be welcomed. Thanks.

Problem solved by weather station software. Happy to share if others are wondering how to upload to Wunderground.com

Could you be more specific? For me and many other Tiger users PhotoBooth works just fine.

It simply doesn't open. Rebooted, tried control-O, etc., finally gave up. Was not part of my Tiger install, so copied app from machine running 10.5.7 to Titanium G4, 10.3.9. Install issue? Did not look for files in Library, for example.

pcj46,

I am not clear what operating system you are running.

Mac OS X 10.4.x?

Panther?

The Mac OS X 10.5.7 version of iChat is not compatible with an earlier operating system.

iChat is one of the optional install applications listed in Custom installs in Mac OS X 10.4.

If you are running Mac OS X 10.3.9, you will need to extract iChat from one of the system install discs using Pacifist.
