This is not a big deal but I have forgotten how to make the HD icon not show on the desktop. I set up my imac that way because it looks cleaner to me but now with my new mac book I can't remember how I did it.
Anybody know how?

Uncheck the "Show these items on the Desktop: Hard disks" box in Finder Preferences>General.
