At work I am on Panther (latest version of Mail 1.x.x), and at Home I'm on Tiger (Mail 2.0.2).

I have a new IMAP account and I'm trying to save Sent and Draft messages to the server.

At work, it works. At home, it doesn't (ERROR: The message could not be saved).

I'm not behind a firewall. I can access my server and upload files via FTP just fine. Also, I can drag files into the Drafts or Sent mailboxes and that works.

Any suggestions?

I'm posting this in Internet help because these two problems may be related:

I have the same problem...

I fixed it by:

Preferences
Accounts
Mailbox Behaviours

From that pane I made sure that the sent items and other such things were NOT saved on the server.

Perhaps you missed this part:

In reply to:

I'm trying to save Sent and Draft messages to the server.

I actually got this fixed by going to Prefs -> Account -> Advanced and inputting the proper IMAP Path Prefix (most likely this is "INBOX") Then I had some more problems after that which were fixed by deleting and rebuilding the accounts.
